Why do we all need to be leaders?

Helen Hughes has over 30 years of experience in transport planning and project management, having worked in the public and private sectors across the UK, Ireland, and France. She is a Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Diploma in Project Management. Helen was appointed Director of a state transport agency in 2015 and manages a department of 50 people.

Additionally, she has served as a Council Member of Engineers Ireland, as Chairperson of WITS, a voluntary organisation which supports women in science, technology, engineering and maths. She is currently a Chairperson of a Board of Management of a secondary school.
