Who we are
Hearts+Minds is an online platform for women that goes beyond the superficial. We are a group of women who want to uplift and inspire others, no matter where they are in their daily life.
What we do
Through regular blog posts, podcasts and meet-ups across Ireland, we help women to find respite, draw inspiration, and discover community, so we can all see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
#50 | Poet Sally Read's Conversion - “God Had Come To Me”
In this episode, we speak with Sally Read, the well-known British poet. Sally was once an atheist and as she says herself, deeply anti-Catholic. Sally tells us about her conversion story and how her views on the teachings of the Catholic Church shifted over time and how she began to get closer to God.
Podcast #48 | How Trust Empowers Relationships with God and Others?
Charles Feltman describes trust as “choosing to risk making something you value vulnerable to another person's actions” ... that is, what are you willing to risk with someone?
Podcast #47 | Katie Ascough - Life Experiences that Lead to "Called to More"
Katie is a television and news presenter for Shalom World, and the co-founder and presenter of Called to More, a Catholic apostolate based in Dublin with the mission of helping people know their faith as a way of life and relationship with God.
How can trust help you grow?
Trust has been described as “Choosing to risk making something you value vulnerable to another person’s actions”.
The power of forgiveness
When we are offended, aggrieved, wronged we win when we do the forgiving. We win when we become vulnerable and take the “hit” for someone else’s wrongdoing.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
This blog is not an attempt to deal with any one issue, but to look at the bigger picture and perhaps try to answer the questions: Why is there suffering in the world at all? And what is God doing about it?
